Michael Ahrens

Michael is a senior vice president with Antares Capital. He is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting and managing private equity sponsored transactions.

Michael has served in various credit functions at Antares including underwriting and restructuring. He initially joined GE Capital in 2012 as part of the Telecom, Media & Technology industry lending group. Michael began his career in public accounting in the audit practice of Ernst & Young.

Michael graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston and earned his master’s in accounting, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.

Richard Aldrich

Managing Director

New York

Richard is a managing director of market strategy and research. He focuses on thought leadership, market/competitor intel, business analytics and strategy.

Prior to Antares, Richard was Director of Industry Research at GE Capital where he managed a team of senior research analysts. Previously, Richard worked in Corporate Development at Alcoa, and was an award-winning equity research analyst and later an investment banker at Lehman Brothers.

Richard is a CFA charter holder and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan.

Emily Anderson

Managing Director

New York

Emily is a managing director of portfolio originations at Antares Capital. She is responsible for developing private equity client relationships and generating volume from the existing portfolio.

Emily joined GE Antares in 2006 and focused on structuring, underwriting, and documenting new transactions and managing a portfolio of existing borrowers. She started her career in the GE Capital Financial Management Program.

Emily graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Thomas Archer

Tom is a vice president with Antares Capital. He is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting, and managing transactions.

Tom joined Antares in 2014. Prior to joining Antares, Tom spent 2 years with GE’s Corporate Audit Staff following his graduation from GE Capital’s Financial Management Program.

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Vermont.

Ben Auwaerter

Chicago

Ben is a vice president with Antares Capital.

He is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting, and managing private-equity sponsored transactions. Ben joined Antares in 2019 and previously worked in the firm’s Credit Advisory Group.

Ben graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in finance and english and is a CFA charterholder.

Amit Bafna

Managing Director

Amit is a managing director in the Asset Management Group at Antares Capital. He is responsible for developing relationships and implementing programs with institutional investors.

As part of GE and Antares, Amit served over 20 years in a wide range of positions including finance, underwriting of commercial loans, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial loans, and most recently, asset management.

Amit earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University and has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Rishi Bahl

Rishi Bahl is a vice president with Antares Capital. He is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting, and managing private equity sponsored transactions.

Prior to joining Antares Capital in 2018, Rishi spent 2 years with GE’s Energy Financial Services business after completing GE Capital’s Financial Management Program.

Rishi earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Jonathan Balch

Managing Director

Atlanta

Jon is a managing director with Antares Capital. He joined Antares through GE in 2002 and is a member of the Credit Advisory Group responsible for restructuring and managing Antares’ most complex and challenged investment partnerships.

Jon began his career at Wachovia, and prior to joining Antares, worked in the Wachovia Securities Corporate & Investment Banking Group.

Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Rick Beaudoin

Managing Director

New York

Rick is a managing director of Capital Markets for Antares Capital. He joined the firm in 2013 with over 20 years of leveraged finance experience and has raised over $50 billion of capital for his clients.

Prior to Antares Capital, Rick worked in various leveraged finance roles for Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse/DLJ, UBS and Scotiabank. He started his career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche.

Rick earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Connecticut and his MBA with honors from the University of Rochester.

Josh Becker

Josh is a senior vice president with Antares Capital. He is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting and managing transactions.

Josh joined GE Antares in 2014. Previously, Josh worked as a private equity AVP at Versa Capital Management. Prior to Versa, Josh worked at Glencoe Capital, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Josh is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and a Master's in Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.

Allie Blincow

Vice President

Allie is a vice president with Antares Capital.

She is responsible for structuring, underwriting, documenting, and managing private equity-sponsored transactions. Prior to joining Antares in 2021, Allie was a senior associate in PwC’s Deal Advisory Group, where she focused on financial buy-side due diligence for private equity clients. She began her career in audit at PwC.

Allie earned a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a certified public accountant.

Kyle Blumer

Senior Vice President

Chicago

Kyle is a senior vice president with Antares Capital responsible for underwriting and structuring transactions.

Kyle worked in GE Capital’s Internal Audit Group prior to starting at GE Antares in 2015.  Before that, Kyle worked in Morgan Stanley’s Mortgage Capital Markets division.

Kyle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Eureka College, and earned his MBA from Elmhurst College.
