Justine Habkirk

Justine is Managing Director, Strategy & Transformation at Antares Capital responsible for helping lead the firm’s growth and transformational efforts. Justine is a member of the Antares Operating Committee.

Justine joined Antares in 2022 after spending 10 years at McKinsey & Company, where she was a junior partner focused on serving Financial Institutions across strategy, operational and large-scale transformation topics. Prior to joining McKinsey, Justine worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and BMO Capital Markets.

Justine has an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management and Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.

John Hak

Senior Vice President

John is a senior vice president in the Structured Products team at Antares Capital.

Prior to joining Antares in 2021, John was a vice president in Investment Strategy at AIG where he was responsible for managing asset allocations for the investment portfolios of AIG’s insurance companies.

John earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University.

Grant Hanna

Vice President

Chicago

Grant is a vice president with Antares Capital. He is a member of the originations team, primarily covering private equity firms in the Boston, Chicago, and Florida markets. He is responsible for all facets of the deal process including sourcing, structuring, closing, and managing investment opportunities.

Previously, Grant held various roles across the firm’s credit and capital markets functions.

Grant earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Patrick Harms

Managing Director

Atlanta

Patrick is a managing director in the Asset Management Group at Antares Capital. Patrick joined Antares in 2018 with over 15 years in the financial services industry across various roles, including advisory, project management, and liquidity and executions for private investment funds.

Prior to Antares, Patrick worked at Ernst & Young and Goldman Sachs.

Patrick earned his MBA from Fordham University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.

Chris Hawketts

Senior Vice President

London

Chris is a senior vice president within Antares' Asset Management Group. Chris serves as a product specialist, with a primary focus on supporting Antares' investor base in the EMEA region.

Chris joined Antares in 2024. Prior to Antares, Chris was an alternatives strategist at PIMCO London.

Chris holds a master’s degree in international economics from The University of Manchester and is a CAIA charter holder.

Justin Hawthorne

Justin is a senior vice president in the Asset Management group at Antares Capital. He is responsible for managing various asset management client programs.  Justin joined GE Antares in 2012.

Prior to joining GE Antares, Justin held portfolio management and risk roles in GE Capital’s Bank Loan Group.  Justin joined GE Capital in a finance role in 2003 after holding previous roles in that capacity.

Justin earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University, and an MBA from Fairfield University.

Steven Heise

Managing Director

Steve is a managing director of Antares Capital. He has been with Antares for 18 years and currently manages a team of deal professionals focused on underwriting new business and managing the existing client portfolio. Steve is a founding member of the Antares Telecom, Media & Technology financing business.

Prior to joining Antares, Steve worked in the healthcare finance group for Scotiabank and worked on the interest rate futures and options exchanges in Chicago.

Steve earned an undergraduate business degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business.

William Hershon

New York

William is a senior vice president and advisor consultant of U.S. Wealth Solutions. William joined Antares in 2024.

William most recently worked as a vice president at CAIS, where he consulted with RIAs, Family Offices and Independent Broker-Dealers on alternative investments. Prior to CAIS, William worked as a Global Wealth Management and Portfolio Analytics Group specialist at PIMCO.

William earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from The Pennsylvania State University.

Warren Van Heyst

Vice President

New York

Warren is a vice president of Capital Markets. He is responsible for structuring and syndicating debt financings for private equity backed companies across all industry verticals.

Warren joined Antares in 2018. Prior to joining Antares, he spent four years at Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking Division where he worked on structuring large corporate and sponsor transactions. Prior to that, Warren spent two years at Bank of America as a credit underwriter.

Warren received a B.A. in Economics from Emory University.

Laura Hom

Managing Director

New York

Laura is a managing director at Antares Capital. She is responsible for managing Antares’ Strategic Investor Programs. Laura has also held positions in Capital Markets and originations at Antares and its predecessor firm, GE Capital.

Prior to Antares, Laura held positons in the Leverage Finance Group at CIBC, Fleet Bank, and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Laura earned a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Gottfried Horich

Managing Director

Germany

Gottfried joined Antares Capital as Managing Director, Head of Sales DACH, in September 2024. Previously he held similar positions at Principal Asset Management and Insight Investment. He was country head Germany at Amundi and helped oversee the merger between Amundi and Pioneer in Germany. Gottfried started his career in fixed income research at JP Morgan.

Gottfried studied economics and business administration in Germany and the UK and holds a MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School, UK.

Mike Hynes

Co-Head of Originations

Chicago

Mike is co-head of Originations for Antares Capital. He leads the company's Midwest and West Coast sponsor coverage activities. Mike serves on the Antares Capital Advisers Investment Committee and is a member of the Antares Executive Committee.

Mike joined the original Antares business in 2002 in an underwriting and portfolio management role.

Prior to Antares, Mike worked in the leveraged finance group at LaSalle Bank.

Mike graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned his JD / MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
